Privacy Policy

Noozy app and https://www.noozy.cz Effective 16. 8. 2026

Short version

Noozy runs offline. There are no accounts and the contents of your inventory never leave your phone. Spools, prices, projects and photos stay in the device's storage. Nothing is sold and nothing is linked to advertising networks. The longer version below covers the exceptions: anonymous usage statistics, crash reports you send manually, and the PRO purchase handled by Google Play.

1. Controller

2. Data you enter in the app

Spools, refills, printers, prices, calculations, projects, print history, notes and sample print photos.

This data is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. It is not uploaded anywhere, I have no access to it, and I cannot recover it if you lose it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

You can export a JSON backup manually at any time. The app also keeps an automatic backup on the device (last seven files). Once you share a backup — to cloud storage, by email — that service's terms apply to it, not this policy.

3. Permissions

  • Camera — reading QR codes, EAN barcodes and handwritten IDs, plus colour

sample print photos. The camera feed is processed on the device and never uploaded.

  • Notifications — low filament, drying, desiccant and printer maintenance

reminders, all evaluated on the device.

  • Internet — only for anonymous usage statistics (section 4) and the PRO

purchase (section 6). Normal use requires no connection.

4. Anonymous usage statistics

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to see how many people use it and which features are worth developing further.

Sent: launch counts, a coarse inventory size bucket (e.g. "6–20 spools"), licence phase, flags that a feature was used, device model, OS and app version, country derived from IP, and a random Firebase installation identifier.

Not sent: anything about your inventory. No filament names, brands, prices, calculations, notes, photos or item identifiers. There is deliberately no code in the app that would transmit them.

What the app does not contain: advertising SDKs, third-party tracking pixels, cross-app tracking, profiling or automated decision-making. I do not sell any data or pass it on for marketing purposes.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Recipient: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC; data may be processed outside the EU under standard contractual clauses. Firebase retains event data for 2 to 14 months depending on the record type.

Opting out: deny the app internet access in system settings, or turn off diagnostics/personalisation in your Google account. The app works fully offline either way.

5. Crash reports

If the app crashes, it writes a technical description (error type, stack trace, device model, OS and app version) to a file on your phone and offers to send it on the next launch.

Nothing is sent automatically. You choose to send it, using your own email or sharing app, so you can see exactly what is being sent. Reports contain no database contents. Anything sent is used solely to fix the bug and deleted once it is fixed.

6. PRO purchase

The paid version is sold by Google Play. I do not process or have access to payment or billing data — only aggregate sales reports in Google Play Console.

The purchase is handled solely by Google Play; no other service is involved. The fact that you own the licence is held by Google against your account, which is why it comes back by itself after a reinstall or on a new phone.

7. The website

The site is informational, with no accounts or order forms, and it uses no analytics or advertising cookies. The hosting server keeps standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser) for operation and security, retained for at most 6 months. Cookies are covered on a separate page. If you email me, I process your address and message to reply, and keep it for at most 3 years.

8. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and no data is knowingly collected from them.

9. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to lodge a complaint. In practice I have as much access to your app data as anyone else — none — so these rights mainly concern email correspondence and analytics records. 10. Changes

This policy may change when the app or the law changes. The current version is always at https://www.noozy.cz/en/privacy-policy/ with its effective date. Material changes are announced in the app.
