Everything Noozy does
Feature overview for version 0.901beta. The app runs fully offline; data lives on the phone only.
Inventory
One list holds three kinds of item: a spool with filament on it, an empty spool waiting for a refill, and a loose refill sitting on the shelf.
Overview and organisation
- List view (detailed) or grid view (compact)
- Grouped by brand, material or colour
- Identical items merge into one row with a count and total weight
- Remaining amount shown as a percentage
- Colour dot matching the real shade, including multi-colour filaments
Filtering and search
- Full-text search across brand, material and colour
- Filter by item kind, brand, material and colour
- Filter by the letter and number of a manual ID
- State filters: loaded on a printer, running low, needs reweighing, opened
- Live count of matching items inside the filter dialog
Working with a spool
- Subtract material manually or by weighing (gross weight minus tare)
- Reweigh to correct an estimated amount
- Unload a refill back into stock (reusable spools only)
- Mark as used up, with an option to weigh the empty spool
- Drying log with date and time
- Assign to a printer and put back into storage, including a "needs reweighing" state
- Bulk label printing, deletion and archiving via long press
Refills and empty spools
- Empty spools tracked with tare, label and manual ID
- Loose refills tracked as separate stock
- Load a refill onto a spool from either direction
- Pair by scanning: scan one half, then the other, and the app joins them
- Tare gets more accurate every time a spool is emptied and weighed
- Calculated savings compared with buying spooled filament
- Filament cannot be unloaded from a single-use spool until you mark it reusable
Identification: QR codes and manual IDs
- QR labels for spools, refills and printers
- Print through the system print service or export to PNG
- Empty spools always get the tare printed on the label
- A "label does not match contents" flag after a refill swap
- Manual IDs for people without a label printer — a letter and number, A1 to Z299
- Automatic assignment of free IDs, or type your own
- Duplicate checking across spools and refills, including archived ones
- Manual IDs read by the camera via OCR, with correction of common character mix-ups.
Handwriting does trip the OCR up now and then, which is why it needs five matching reads — it is a fallback for when you cannot print a QR label, not a better version of one
- The same letter-and-number scheme works for labelling shelves and rows, even if you do print QR labels
Scanner
- QR codes, EAN-13 and EAN-8
- OCR for handwritten IDs
- Target frame — codes outside it are ignored
- Five matching reads required before an ID is committed
- Scanning the EAN off the box stocks the spool with every parameter
- Torch control and a home screen widget for quick scanning
Filament library
- Hundreds of materials from dozens of manufacturers, pre-filled
- Structure: product (brand, material, series, colour, density) → package (length, price, EAN, tare)
- Several packages per material — 1 kg spool, 750 g spool, spool-less refill
- One tap stocks exactly that package
- Assign an EAN code to a package
- Pre-filled empty-spool weights and average prices, so the calculator has real numbers to work with
- A sample print photo for each filament, so you can see what the colour really looks like
- Custom colour picking including multi-colour combinations
Printers
- Catalogue of ready-made profiles (Prusa, Bambu Lab, Creality, Voron and others)
- Farm mode for several printers — custom naming, colour and ordering
- Electricity consumption tracked separately for PLA, PETG, ASA, PA, TPU and ABS
- Wear cost per print or per hour
- Overview of which spool is on which printer
- Maintenance log with intervals and reminders
- QR labels for printers
Calculator
Pricing
- Multiple materials in one print
- Material from a specific spool in stock, from the library, or entered manually
- Electricity cost from printer draw and print time
- Depreciation per print or per hour
- Post-processing at your own hourly rate
- Failure rate in percent, other costs, markup and discount
- Quantity and price per unit
- Full cost breakdown before the final price
Finishing and history
- Save a calculation as a project with a photo
- Finishing a print subtracts material from the real spools
- Sell for a different price than suggested — the app remembers both
- Every completed print is logged with its breakdown and net income
- Each record stores the currency it was created in
Statistics
- Period: all time / month / year / custom range
- Stock: item count, total weight, consumption, average price per kg, shelf value
- Money: material, electricity, wear, labour, other, discounts, order value, net income
- Library: manufacturers, material types, filaments, printers
- Refills: reusable spools, free spools, loose refills, share of consumption, savings
- Monthly consumption chart, material share and top 5 filaments
- A warning when currencies are mixed within the selected period
Reminders
- Running low, with your own threshold in grams
- Separate thresholds for the five most used materials
- Spools left out for too long, desiccant checks, printer maintenance intervals
- Everything runs in the background, even with the app closed
Backups, export and sharing
- Full backup to a JSON file
- Partial export: stock, filaments or printers separately
- Share via Drive, email or any app
- Automatic background backup keeping the last seven files
- Restore from an automatic backup by date
- A corrupted or foreign JSON file is rejected with an explanation
- Preview of the file's contents before import, and conflicts resolved item by item
- Partial exports are made to be passed on: the filament library and printer profiles
can be swapped between people and built up together, with no server in the middle
Currencies
- CZK, USD, EUR or a custom symbol
- Currency chosen in the setup wizard
- Switch currency at any time, confirming the rate with a preview of the conversion
- Converts library, stock, printers, projects, calculator, electricity and labour rates
- Print history is deliberately not converted — it is a record of what happened
Other
- English and Czech
- Light and dark theme
- Setup wizard on first launch
- Full manual and FAQ inside the app
- Data consistency check after every change
- Fully offline, no account, no cloud
