Data deletion
Noozy has no user accounts and your inventory data never leaves your phone. That makes deletion simpler than with cloud apps — you can do most of it yourself, immediately, without waiting for a reply.
1. Data inside the app (spools, prices, projects, history, photos)
Stored only in your phone's memory, in the app's private storage. I have no access to it and it exists nowhere else.
How to delete it:
- Uninstall the app. That removes everything, including automatic backups.
- Or in the app: Settings → Import from file → Overwrite and delete the old database.
- Individual items can be deleted from the list at any time.
Backups you sent elsewhere yourself (Drive, email) stay where you sent them — delete those in that service.
2. Anonymous usage statistics
The app sends anonymous usage data to Google Firebase Analytics (how often it was opened, which features were used, a rough band for inventory size). Never anything from your inventory. The data is tied to a random install identifier, not to your name or email.
How to delete it:
- Uninstalling the app invalidates the identifier and stops the collection.
- To have already-sent records erased, write to noozy.support@gmail.com and state that it
is a request under Article 17 GDPR. I will handle it within one month.
3. Email correspondence
If you have written to me, I hold your address and the message. Write to noozy.support@gmail.com and I will delete it.
How to ask
One message to noozy.support@gmail.com is enough. No form and no account needed. I reply within one month, usually within a few days.
